Location: Washington Distribution Center

Key Responsibilities:

The Incoming Quality Auditor is responsible for conducting thorough quality assessments on products received from various suppliers and facilities. The role includes:

  1. Executing quality audits to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  2. Performing both quantitative and visual testing as outlined in defect reference manuals.
  3. Documenting findings and testing results to provide comprehensive reports to the lead.
  4. Maintaining accurate records of all testing and findings.
  5. Utilizing software tools such as Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.
  6. Following detailed work instructions to ensure adherence to established procedures.
  7. Collaborating closely with Quality Engineers across different product lines.
  8. Contributing to the development of new quality assurance procedures as necessary.
  9. Gaining knowledge of the JDE E1 ERP system and Docuware for managing nonconformance reports.
  10. Performing additional tasks as assigned by the lead or manager.
  11. Learning to operate equipment such as Hi-Rise, Center-Ride, and Stand-Up Forklifts.
Qualifications:

Language Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including prints and instructions. Proficient in writing reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills: Capable of performing calculations related to quantities and measurements, applying basic mathematical concepts.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and work effectively under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position require the employee to:

  • Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the work shift.
  • Utilize hands for dexterity and operate equipment.
  • Lift and/or move objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Have specific vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision.
  • Respond to auditory signals for safety purposes.

Review Process:

This position will be subject to periodic reassessment, at least once per calendar year.
