Job Opportunity

The Government Jobs organization is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team in a collaborative community setting. As a licensed physician, you will provide high-quality care to vulnerable patients, working in a team-based model with case managers, nursing staff, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to members of the community dealing with severe mental illness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a team-based model to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Work with patients in Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) models and traditional models, across various programs.
Benefits:
  • Up to 10% additional pay for relevant board certifications.
  • Up to four weeks of vacation in the first year.
  • Standard office schedule (no nights, on-call, or weekends).
  • Qualifying employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
  • Potential for up to $7,500 in student loan repayment.
Requirements:
  • Possession of an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school.
  • Completion of the third year of a psychiatric residency training program approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Possession of a valid license to practice medicine issued by the State of California.
  • Possession of a current Controlled Substance Registration certificate issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
