Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Foresight Mental Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced nurse practitioner to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide initial patient evaluations, ongoing medication management, and brief supportive therapy
- Collaborate with other clinicians and professionals in an interdisciplinary approach to care
- Complete documentation, orders, and charge slips within 72 hours of patient visit
- A competitive annual salary between $170,000 and $175,000 based on experience and a 40-hour weekly schedule
- A smaller full-time caseload with a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a salary starting at $131,250
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverages, and FSA; company-paid life insurance; 4 weeks of PTO (increased in 2024); and a 401K plan with a company match
- A Master's degree from an accredited university/graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- California residence; active California Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license; active DEA license (Schedules 2-5)
- 2+ years of independent experience in psychiatry, preferably in an outpatient setting
- Must not be opted out of Medicare
- Have access to reliable and stable internet and be proficient with technology, including but not limited to using an EHR (Electronic Health Record) and tools, such as Zoom, Google Suite, and Dayforce
