Job Summary

The Ambulatory Care Professional Development Consultant is a key member of our team, responsible for designing and implementing training programs and curriculums to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff. This role requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to develop high-quality, evidence-based educational programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs and curriculums that align with our strategic plan and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and deliver educational programs that are engaging, effective, and meet the needs of our staff.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to ensure that training programs are relevant and effective.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in train-the-trainer, patient education, precepting, and/or SME training.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in acute care, ambulatory care, or case management/population health care services within the last 5 years.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing.
  • Registered Nurse License (Washington) OR Compact License: Registered Nurse.
  • Registered Nurse License (Oregon).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of education experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent clinical experience in acute care, ambulatory care, or case management/population health care services.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, development, and delivery.
  • Certification in nursing field of expertise (e.g. Pediatrics, Case Management, Adult Medicine, Education, etc.).
