We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Carus Group. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure compliance with our quality and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate results and provide recommendations to procurement teams to ensure that suppliers meet our expectations.
- Drive supplier development projects to improve the quality of materials supplied to Carus Group.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, including NSF, Kosher, KIWA, and Halal standards.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that quality operations are managed in a cost-effective manner.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and EPA regulations and reporting requirements.
