Job Summary

The Pharmacy Operations Specialist will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Operations at Healthy MD. This role is an integral part of the clinical management team, responsible for managing medication inventory, storage, delivery, quality assurance, order entry, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the receipt of medication inventory and samples at assigned clinics, including patient-specific medication packages.
  • Address medication management refill procedures with contract pharmacies.
  • Perform order entry of medication service processes at the clinic dispensary, when applicable.
  • Document clinical notes related to the medication use process.
  • Manage non-clinical medication management and customer issues or complaints.
  • Run inventory analytic reports to support month-end business closing.
  • Travel to other clinic locations within the regional area as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Pharmacy Technician Registration.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
  • 2-4 years of experience in pharmacy operations, preferably in 340B and hospital settings.
  • Strong customer service orientation skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Full knowledge of Windows Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of computers.
  • Strong problem resolution skills.
