The Senior Finance Executive will collaborate closely with the leadership team and guide the finance and accounting division from our headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic financial advisor to the leadership team.
  • Facilitate operational efficiency by overseeing daily transaction management, invoice assessments, contract negotiations, and record-keeping protocols.
  • Lead the finance and accounting team by establishing and enforcing policies that enhance process efficiency and security.
  • Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Generate a variety of financial and operational analyses as required by leadership.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of all tax documentation; develop expertise in multi-state nonprofit tax regulations.
  • Manage banking and investment partnerships, serving as the liaison between leadership and external financial professionals.
  • Evaluate procedures for wire approvals, invoice assessments, and payment processing.
  • Serve as a primary contact during real estate and investment transactions.
  • Maintain an organized system for financial documentation, invoicing, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar capacity within a family office, overseeing a small finance or accounting team.
  • Advanced degree in finance or accounting; CPA is preferred but not mandatory, as a strong grasp of tax principles is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of nonprofit financial management, trusts, and estate planning.
  • Proficient in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A desire to engage with an innovative, dynamic, and fast-paced team.
  • Technologically adept, with the ability to leverage digital management tools and financial platforms.
