Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our team at Balfour Beatty US. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing various finance transformation projects across our national business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify areas for improvement and optimize financial processes, increase visibility of relevant data, and drive automation and digitization
  • Proactively recognize and assist in rolling out best practices across our various regions for continuous improvement in financial processes, tools and systems
  • Develop and execute training programs to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems
  • Play a critical role in developing, monitoring, and reporting on various risk identification and reporting needs
  • Assist business with project bid proposals as needed
  • Drive the mindset of change by effectively communicating the vision, benefits, and objectives of process improvement
  • Collaborate closely with finance leaders, business partners, and other shared services teams to understand their requirements, gather feedback and align with their initiative needs
  • Monitor and report on the progress of finance transformation projects and track performance against targets
  • Participate in and support company training programs and commit to personal development

Requirements

  • 10+ years of finance / accounting experience with strong knowledge of finance processes (financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting and reporting)
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex finance initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Success-oriented, self-motivating, high energy, and confident personality that can interact with and influence all levels including senior management
  • Demonstrate proficiency using Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office, Outlook, Teams)
