Overview:
Daisy is a national smart space installation and services company that simplifies smart home and office technology to make it work optimally, solving one of the biggest in-home problems today and bringing more joy into the lives of our clients. We are seeking an Executive Director of Operations to lead all operations in our growing region of Fairfield County Connecticut. This natural leader will oversee a highly cross-functional team and drive alignment towards branch goals. They will always seek to provide the utmost in services and satisfaction to our valued clients while maintaining operational best practices and consistently collaborating with Daisy leadership and support systems to achieve all of the above.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations including teams across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Technician, Project Management and potentially other capacities.
- Ensure branches key focus on providing exceptional client services; creating, building and maintaining ongoing relationships with valued clientele.
- Design strategy and set goals for growth.
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
- Set branch level and regional policies and processes.
- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
- Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
- Direct the employee assessment process.
- Prepare regular reports for upper management and franchisor.
- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience as a General Manager or similar executive role.
- Experience in Smart Home and Office Installation or similar home services industry highly preferred.
- BS/BA in Business or relevant field; MS/MA is a plus.
- Must align with Daisy's frontline-first focused culture – we believe our Technicians and Project Managers who are in client's homes should be empowered as critical thinkers and problem solvers. We have created enriching training and benefits programs to enable their career progression and satisfaction working with Daisy. GM should be a partner in ensuring we support our frontline teams and make all efforts to maintain our high retention levels.
- Must be extremely client service oriented.
- Experience in planning and budgeting.
- Overall knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, sales, operations etc.).
- Strong technical and analytical ability.
- Excellent communication skills with branch teams as well as with central Daisy team on all key initiatives, progress, issues and opportunities.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary based on skills and experience.
- Bonus based on personal and company performance targeted to 5%.
