Job Summary

This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of office machines, including adding, accounting, and calculating machines. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools and power tools, and be able to operate machines to test moving parts and locate causes of trouble.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain office machines, including adding, accounting, and calculating machines
  • Operate machines to test moving parts and locate causes of trouble
  • Disassemble machines and examine parts for wear and defects
  • Repair, adjust, or replace parts as needed
  • Clean and maintain oils on moving parts
  • Provide instruction on the operation and care of machines to machine operators
  • Assemble new machines
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested
  • Participate in emergency response tasks
  • Serve on safety committees and teams
  • Conform to the Amentum Quality Policy and carry out job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts
  • Read and understand job responsibilities related to quality management and customer satisfaction
  • Implement general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to the job
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Two (2) years of job-related experience, including basic computer operations skills, required
  • Must be able to process routine reports
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident
