Job Summary:

The Mobile Trailer Technician will perform general to moderate level of repairs on trailer chassis, bodies, and accessories. This role requires the ability to diagnose and repair complex trailer systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of trailer safety regulations and be able to perform DOT inspections.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on trailer chassis, bodies, and accessories
  • Diagnose and repair complex trailer systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform DOT inspections on semi-trailers
  • Work with customers to understand their repair needs and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective repair processes

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two years' experience in trailer repair
  • Certified aluminum and steel welding; both MIG and TIG welding
  • Valid driver's license and must be insurable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade or technical school (certificate or diploma)
  • Trailer/Reefer Manufacturer Certification
  • Tanker Inspector Certification
