Job Title: Trailer Repair Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Trailer Repair Technician to join our team at TForce Freight. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in trailer maintenance and repair, with the ability to diagnose and fix complex issues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on TFF Transportation Trailers and Converter Dollies
- Diagnose and repair non-power equipment, including air brake systems and electrical systems
- Work 2nd or 3rd shift as needed
- Use personal tools and equipment to complete tasks
- Meet all requirements to be Power Industrial Truck Operations (PITO) certified
Requirements:
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
- Current documented trailer mechanic experience
- Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and personal computers
- Possess a full complement of personal hand tools
Work Environment: The Trailer Repair Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and humidity, exposure to cleaning materials, petroleum products, dust, dirt, and noise. The ideal candidate will be able to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment and have a sufficient ability to communicate through sight, hearing, and/or otherwise to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.
