RN - Supplemental Pool

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Supplemental Pool team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and other areas of the hospital as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in educational programs and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Current RN license in good standing with state licensing board.
- BSN or enrollment in BSN program to be completed in 5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience in an acute care setting.
- BLS certification (ACLS within 3 months of hire).
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail.
