We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Per Diem Pool in the Surgery Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to surgical patients, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A current RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in a surgical setting, preferably in a per diem or float pool capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic life support certification.
