Job Summary:
HealthEcareers - Client is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team on a PRN basis, working nights. As a Float Pool RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments within the hospital, including Emergency Department, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, Medical Surgical, and Medical Surgical- Adults & Peds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Float to various departments within the hospital, adapting to changing needs and priorities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and hospital policies
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- 1-year of RN experience preferred
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- One of the following certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
