We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Supplemental Pool team at The George Washington University Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Current RN license in good standing with state licensing board
- BSN or enrollment in BSN program to be completed in 5 years
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience in an acute care setting
- BLS certification (ACLS within 3 months of hire)
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
