The Sales Specialist is a dedicated professional tasked with promoting and leasing a senior living community. The ideal candidate will implement a strategic business approach, manage their sales pipeline effectively, create urgency among potential clients, and follow a structured sales process to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue goals.

Essential Qualifications for a Sales Specialist:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales with a history of surpassing sales objectives
  • Familiarity with the senior living market and various service offerings is advantageous but not mandatory. We welcome all successful sales professionals to apply
  • A genuine desire to connect with and assist seniors by aligning their needs with our service options
  • A strong sales drive with the ability to close deals while maintaining empathy for clients
  • Effective time management skills
  • Exhibits a high level of initiative, creativity, sound judgment, and professional integrity
  • Possesses strong leadership abilities to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities; able to identify solutions for clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce is preferred
  • Willingness to travel as necessary

Key Responsibilities of a Sales Specialist:

  • Oversees all occupancy and revenue objectives for the community
  • Utilizes Salesforce to effectively manage sales pipelines, conversion rates, and move-in statistics
  • Adheres to Fair Housing and Federal Trade Commission regulations
  • Identifies new opportunities to broaden our network of referral sources
  • Conducts daily outreach to prospective clients in the database to arrange visits and tours
  • Manages the leasing center during the construction phase
  • Facilitates tours of model or available apartments for potential residents and referral agencies
  • Assists with marketing strategies and resident engagement events
  • Acts as an educational resource for residents, caregivers, and staff
  • Promotes the organization positively and exemplifies the standards of excellence
  • Maintains effective communication and collaboration throughout the community
  • Coordinates occupancy goals and resident/prospect information
  • Prepares and oversees all relevant reports
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or unconventional hours as business needs require
