We are a dynamic early childhood education center dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for young minds to grow and develop.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Educational Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our children.

Salary:$16.50 per hour, commensurate with experience and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and loving environment for children in care
  • Attend to children's needs and support their development
  • Create engaging, hands-on activities that promote learning and growth
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
  • Ensure play, sleep, and changing areas are clean and well-maintained
  • Track child development using our developmental checklist and work towards meeting milestones
  • Develop plans and activities that are engaging and support developmental growth

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations
  • CPR/First Aid certification within the first 30 days
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • A caring individual who enjoys working with young children
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Extended periods of sitting on the floor and getting up and down
  • Ability to work a shift between 7:30 am-5:30 pm
  • Reliable transportation to the Child Care center
  • Great communication skills to communicate effectively with parents and co-workers
  • Flexibility due to ratios
