Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeper to join our team at Saint Mary Home. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of duties to ensure a clean and safe environment, including cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
  • Operate equipment such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and brooms to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Restock linens, towels, and other supplies as needed.
  • Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, and folding.
  • Participate in rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage.
Requirements
  • Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions in the English language.
  • Three months experience in institutional housekeeping operations is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of water temperatures, laundry detergents and chemicals, linens and fabrics is required.
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
