Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team in the North Region of the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services. As a Per Diem Psychiatrist, you will provide psychiatric care to individuals in need, working closely with our team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat individuals with psychiatric disorders
  • Conduct intellectual and physical evaluations
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as needed
  • Collaborate with our team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a license to practice medicine and surgery in the state of Connecticut, as well as at least one year of residency program experience in psychiatry. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
