We are seeking a Senior CxA Engineer to enhance our Commissioning Department. This senior-level position offers flexibility in location, allowing for placement in various offices across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive commissioning and construction administration, providing engineering and technical support for ongoing projects.
  • Oversee design reviews and direct onsite commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with technical documentation and contractual obligations.
  • Guarantee that all facets of construction projects are designed, installed, tested, and maintained effectively.
  • Compile and manage commissioning records, including site observations, testing processes, and checklists.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues related to commissioning and construction MEPFP systems, including the development of Commissioning Plans and final reports.
  • Monitor project progress, compile detailed reports, and maintain robust client relationships.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to MEPFP systems.
  • Lead the Cx/CA team and manage projects from inception to completion.
  • Act as a liaison among RG Vanderweil Engineers, clients, and contractors.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in a related field, including on-site construction experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE), Commissioning (CX), and LEED certifications are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with HVAC controls is necessary.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Programs and Navisworks is advantageous.
  • Experience in MEPFP design and construction is required.
