About the Role

The State of Indiana is seeking a highly skilled Correctional Retention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our workforce engagement team, you will play a critical role in designing, establishing, and administering employee retention programs that promote public safety and support the successful re-entry of offenders into our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in employee retention
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver training programs and initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of retention programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Provide instructional support and guidance to employees and offenders
Requirements
  • Specialized knowledge of program area, including pertinent rules and regulations
  • Ability to research, analyze, and compile specific topics related to program area
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
