We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Contaminant Transport Modeler.

Candidate must have demonstrated expertise in modeling contaminant transport through sediment caps related to Sediment Remediation projects. Roles and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Understanding the scientific and engineering principles of modeling contaminant fate and transport through sediment caps in subaqueous systems, including experience with CapSim preferred.

Development of field sampling programs and subsequent data analyses to support the development of conceptual site models, mass balances, and data-based understanding of fate and transport processes.

Evaluation of the feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and assistance in the development of sediment remediation designs for large contaminated sediment sites involving multiple stakeholders.

Serving as the primary cap modeling interface with clients on complicated sediment sites, assessing and understanding problems and developing and communicating technical strategies.

Salary Range: $87,310 - $139,682

Location: Colorado, Denver

Job Type: Full-time, Regular

Travel Required: 10%

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Science or Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is also required.
