Job Responsibilities:

Provide structured academic and simulator training for both officer and enlisted personnel, focusing on initial qualification, requalification, instructor advancement, and key staff education for combat search and rescue operations. This includes:

  • Training in NVG low-level flight techniques.
  • Helicopter aerial refueling operations.
  • Alternate insertion and extraction methodologies.
  • Emergency procedures training and systems instruction.
  • Tactical operations training.

Additionally, deliver refresher training for qualified CV-22 aircrew members and assist in the development and application of the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process for all CV-22 course materials. The selected candidate will achieve certification as an instructor from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and undertake other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a current CV-22 pilot within the last two years, or within the last eight years if the candidate has served eight years in military operational flying, including at least two years or 200 hours as an in-flight instructor in the CV-22. Candidates must also be eligible for an active SECRET clearance and meet the necessary requirements for access to classified information and Communications Security (COMSEC) materials. A minimum of an Associate's Degree from an accredited institution is required.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

Ideal candidates should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Extensive flight hours in the CV-22.
  • Over 100 hours of Night Vision Goggle experience.
  • More than 300 hours of instructional experience.
  • Creativity and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week, with potential overtime.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in English, including oral and written communication.

Security Responsibilities:

Compliance with all company security and data protection policies is mandatory. Employees are responsible for the proper handling of all information and materials, ensuring confidentiality and restricted access as necessary. All government and proprietary information must be accessed and stored using company-provided resources.

Work Environment:

+ Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally.

+ Capability to perform essential duties globally.

+ Work will primarily occur in an office setting, with some activities conducted in a simulator high-bay environment.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements for this role include the ability to operate a personal computer and communicate effectively via telephone, as well as the capacity to work extended hours under pressure.
