We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot Instructor to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to pilots in the F-35 aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Provide instruction to pilots in the F-35 aircraft, utilizing Electronic Mediated Lecture (EML) and/or Interactive Courseware (ICW)
- Deliver academic training and simulator training to pilots, utilizing the Full Mission Simulators (FMS) or Mission Rehearsal Trainer (MRT)
- Operate Instructor Operating Stations (IOS) and provide subject matter expertise for all pilot training courseware updates
- Work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team to fulfill F-35 training objectives
- Implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed
- Minimum of 1000 hours of fighter flight time in fourth and/or fifth generation multi-role fighter aircraft
- Former Instructor Pilot (IP) experience required
- In-depth knowledge of fourth and/or fifth generation aircraft systems, operational experience with advanced sensor systems, and the latest air-to-surface and air-to-air weapons inventory
- Prior experience in delivering military pilot academics and simulator training, and familiarity with current instructional techniques and delivery methods
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership traits, oral and written communication abilities, and ability to organize and provide customer satisfaction
- Active secret clearance and ability to qualify for access to Special Access Required (SAR) programs within 6 years
- Current or demonstrated experience as an USAF/USN/USMC IP with multi-role fighter experience
- Former Weapon School, Top Gun, or MAWTS graduate desired
- Fifth generation Full Mission Simulator (FMS) experience as an operator and/or instructor
- F-35 flight experience highly desired
