Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team in Paramus, New Jersey. As the face of our firm, you will be responsible for welcoming and guiding candidates through the recruiting process, working closely with our Managing Director of People and firm leaders to shape our attorney and paralegal recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple components of our social media and legal hiring platforms, including sourcing candidates, posting job openings, and producing statistical reports.
  • Support the circulation and coordination of internal communications regarding candidates.
  • Conduct scheduling of phone screenings, interviews, and follow-up communications.
  • Coordinate conference room reservations and prepare conference rooms for in-person interviews.
  • Greets candidates when they arrive for interviews and notifies interviewers.
  • Maintains recruiting records in our Applicant Tracking System, including charts and reports.
  • Ensures operations and onboarding teams are notified and pre-hire information is collected and distributed as directed.
  • Coordinates firm and market research projects with research services and compiles relevant data in a user-friendly format.
  • Manages sharing of resumes with the recruiting committee and uploads to our document management platform.
  • Administers writing and Omnia assessments and uploads to our document management platform.
  • Maintains the Recruiting PM workspace, including saving documents and emails using approved naming conventions.
  • Works with the operations team to ensure onboarding and proper training is executed.
  • Provides high-touch follow-up with new hires to ensure they are integrating well and addresses any needs.
  • Ensures applicant and new hire data is properly entered into our HRIS and recruiting module.
  • Updates our external career webpage with the Marketing Director.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in legal recruiting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Possesses the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate information with professionalism, tact, and courtesy.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources and apply critical and creative thinking to draw conclusions or develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Represent the firm with honesty, integrity, and professionalism, consistently acting in an ethical manner.

We offer a competitive salary range of $55-65,000, depending on location, market data, and experience.
