Job Overview

Gana-A'Yoo, Limited is seeking an experienced Electrician to perform preventive maintenance procedures on water treatment equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document procedures through detailed preventive maintenance job plans.
  • Assist Journeyman level technicians on various projects.
  • Perform electrical trade functions, including installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for electric energy generation, distribution, or utilization.
  • Work involves installing or repairing electrical equipment, such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment.
  • Housekeeping responsibilities throughout the work site.
  • Perform incidental tasks related to the position and various duties to support the team's objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in industrial maintenance electrical environment or completion of an apprenticeship program or technical trade school.
  • Valid Arizona Driver's License.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and process diagrams.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Basic analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Promptness and timeliness in completing assigned tasks.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening.

Work Environment:

The majority of work is performed in a field setting with some work in an office setting and interfaces with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities.

During work in the field setting, the candidate will be exposed to an environment typical of the southwest desert.

The candidate may also at times be required to work around chemicals typical of a water treatment facility.
