Location: Hybrid Role
Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Trust and Estates Paralegal to enhance our client's legal department. This hybrid position allows for a blend of on-site and remote work, providing flexibility while supporting attorneys in various trust and estate matters.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare essential estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
- Assist in the administration of probate and trusts, including the preparation and submission of necessary court documents.
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is current and accurately filed.
- Collaborate with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals to collect required information.
- Conduct legal research pertinent to trust and estate issues.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the preparation of estate tax returns and related documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal specializing in trust and estate law.
- Familiarity with local and state laws and regulations.
- Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
- Paralegal certification is preferred.
