Job Overview

Position: Trust and Estates Paralegal

Location: Hybrid Role

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Trust and Estates Paralegal to enhance our client's legal department. This hybrid position allows for a blend of on-site and remote work, providing flexibility while supporting attorneys in various trust and estate matters.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare essential estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Assist in the administration of probate and trusts, including the preparation and submission of necessary court documents.
  • Organize and maintain client files, ensuring all documentation is current and accurately filed.
  • Collaborate with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals to collect required information.
  • Conduct legal research pertinent to trust and estate issues.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support the preparation of estate tax returns and related documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal specializing in trust and estate law.
  • Familiarity with local and state laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
  • Paralegal certification is preferred.
