Senior Account Executive

OpenX, a leading people-based advertising exchange, is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Buyer Development team. This role will play a critical part in expanding our business with top pharma clients and agencies, driving revenue growth and cementing our position as a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned pharma clients and agencies, driving revenue growth and expanding our market share.
- Work closely with account teams to activate private marketplaces and develop deals that connect advertisers with their target audiences.
- Prospect and connect with potential buyers, deploying a discovery strategy and sales narrative to drive Programmatic Direct spend.
- Provide 'ground support' to strategic deals, driving transactional business and consistent deal-based revenue.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce and provide regular reporting to management on deal progress.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver OpenX's suite of programmatic and identity-based solutions to clients.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of overall experience in ad tech or digital advertising.
- 3-5 years in an Account Executive or similar role in ad tech or digital advertising.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical vertical is highly valued.
- Deep familiarity with ad tech, SSPs, DSPs, the programmatic landscape, and/or media supply chain.
- Strong executive presence and high comfort level presenting to clients of all levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex subjects in a simple and concise manner.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, with the ability to come into a common meeting place 3-4 times per month.
