Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Providence Clinical Network. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed practitioners in providing patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing administrative tasks.
- Perform clinical duties, such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and other medical procedures, as delegated by licensed practitioners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
- 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
