Job Title: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at HealthPoint. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality services.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including patient preparation, vital sign collection, and laboratory procedures. You will also assist healthcare providers with exams, minor surgeries, and medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including vital sign collection and patient education.
  • Assist healthcare providers with exams, minor surgeries, and medical procedures.
  • Perform laboratory procedures, including phlebotomy and specimen collection.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic and medical information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or Interim Certification.
  • Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience and demonstrated leadership.
  • NextGen experience.
  • Ability and willingness to work evening hours and Saturdays.
