Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
Sterling Medical Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in a medical support role. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists in providing patient care, including preparing patients for exams and procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, as well as maintain accurate records of patient information.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
- A certificate or Associate degree as a CMA/MA from a state accredited program and 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months, or
- Certification from a military medical assistant (i.e. Health Service Technician, Hospital Corpsman) 'A' school and 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months, or
- 36 months experience within the preceding 60 months as a medical assistant in a private practice and completed the requirements for certification.
Benefits:
- Excellent pay: $30.00/hr.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (day shift) with no nights or weekends.
- PTO: 3 weeks.
