Position Overview:

As an Advanced Technology Intelligence Specialist, you will engage in comprehensive analytic production focused on both current and future innovative technologies and their applications within military contexts globally. Your role will involve forecasting the discovery, evolution, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and evaluating their potential effects on U.S. military forces.

Your responsibilities will include conducting risk evaluations regarding the transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use technologies from the U.S., alongside assessing the national security ramifications of foreign participation in critical U.S. defense technology sectors. You will be tasked with generating intelligence reports for various U.S. National, Defense, and Acquisition entities.

Utilizing all-source analysis, you will identify, exploit, and evaluate potential threats, transfers, and vulnerabilities affecting defense supply chains. You will produce written intelligence outputs adhering to Intelligence Community (IC) Tradecraft Standards, leveraging a diverse array of intelligence resources and tools. This includes briefing senior Department of Defense (DoD) officials and producing whitepapers, regional threat assessments, and responses to customer requests for information (RFIs).

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with both qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies, particularly in academic settings that influence tradecraft methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of analytical processes tailored to meet mission objectives.
  • Capability to devise comprehensive and innovative research strategies that facilitate rigorous assessments addressing high-level tasks.
  • Expertise in performing thorough analyses of analytic operations and knowledge management challenges across organizational and inter-agency boundaries, with the ability to clearly communicate key findings.
  • Strong ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in reviewing analytic outputs for logical coherence, adherence to tradecraft standards, and sufficient support for conclusions, regularly testing the analytical rigor of produced materials.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance and a willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 17+ years of experience in technology analysis, or a Master’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is between $75,600.00 and $172,000.00 annually. This range represents typical compensation for this role and is one aspect of Booz Allen's comprehensive compensation package.

Work Environment:

Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site. If onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person as required by the role.
