Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and electrical systems.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance tasks, including inventory management and requisitioning of parts and supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our maintenance processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and tools, with a focus on safety and ergonomics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration, with a focus on parts inventory and requisitioning.
  • Supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of energy conservation and building management systems.
