Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer III to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. This is a full-time, overnight shift position that requires a strong background in general maintenance, electrical, and refrigeration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Assure daily activities and problems are communicated to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience.
