We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in a school district near New Milford, CT.

As a Behavior Specialist / RBT, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' behavioral and educational growth. You will provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges, implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and track and record students' progress and behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with behavioral challenges
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Monitor and record students' progress and behaviors
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a positive learning environment
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills

Requirements:

  • Must be a certified RBT or have equivalent credentials
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or therapeutic setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students succeed
  • Ability to pass a background check and comply with school district regulations
