As a Behavior Specialist / RBT, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' behavioral and educational growth. You will provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges, implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and track and record students' progress and behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with behavioral challenges
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
- Monitor and record students' progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills
Requirements:
- Must be a certified RBT or have equivalent credentials
- Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or therapeutic setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students succeed
- Ability to pass a background check and comply with school district regulations
