Maintenance Technician II

  • Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician in performing various maintenance tasks.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Clean and perform preventative maintenance on various equipment.
  • Prepare rigs for daily use.
  • Repair and replace pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other equipment.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance tests.
  • Perform vibration analysis and other non-destructive testing.
  • Prepare pipes and fabricated supports.
  • Perform maintenance requiring metal cutting, including welding, brazing, and soldering.
  • Maintain files and records of work orders and task completion.
  • Clean the shop area.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience or equivalent training.
  • Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL preferred). Other licenses may vary according to specific site and assignments.
  • Ability to follow manual and operating instructions.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet.
  • Working knowledge of all preventative and corrective maintenance activities associated with the operation of water/wastewater treatment facilities.
Physical Demands
  • Frequently lift 50-60 pounds.
  • Load, unload, and move large equipment/tools.
  • Access confined spaces.
  • Continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
