Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Inframark. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on water and wastewater treatment equipment, ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician in performing various maintenance tasks, including cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance tests and perform vibration analysis and other non-destructive testing.
  • Repair and replace pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other equipment.
  • Prepare pipes and fabricated supports, and perform maintenance requiring metal cutting, including welding, brazing, and soldering.
  • Maintain files and records of work orders and task completion.
  • Clean the shop area and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience or equivalent training.
  • Valid Driver's License (Class B CDL preferred).
  • Other licenses (may vary according to specific site and assignments): SCBA, CSI, Crane and Forklift Operator, Rigging, Metal Cutting.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to follow manual and operating instructions.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet.
  • Working knowledge of all preventative and corrective maintenance activities associated with the operation of water/wastewater treatment facilities.

Communication and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Communicates clearly and professionally.
  • Contributes to a positive internal and external customer experience.
  • Maintains composure in challenging situations.
  • Collaborates with others.
  • Asks for constructive feedback.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequently lift 50-60 pounds.
  • Load, unload, and move large equipment/tools.
  • Access confined spaces.
  • Continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
