As a Quality Control Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that products are packaged correctly and adhere to strict quality standards before they are dispatched to clients. Your role is essential in maintaining product integrity by identifying and resolving any defects or discrepancies from established quality norms.

Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of packaged products to confirm compliance with defined quality specifications, including weight, dimensions, appearance, and labeling.
  • Ensure that all packaging materials and processes comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, such as FDA guidelines for food packaging or ASTM standards for materials.
  • Keep precise records of inspections, test results, and any deviations from quality expectations, ensuring ongoing accuracy and maintenance.
  • Reject any items or components that do not meet quality standards.
  • Investigate the underlying causes of quality issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with production staff, quality assurance teams, and management to align on objectives and standards.
  • Perform quality control tasks safely and in accordance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proven experience in a production environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong mathematical skills, technical abilities, and interpersonal communication.
  • Thorough understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques.
Shift Availability

Opportunities available for 2nd and 3rd shifts only.

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $24.

Location

Position based in Monroe, NJ.
