About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our team at Delta Health. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing our financial processes to improve revenue generation, reduce costs, and enhance overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Analysis: Review and analyze financial data related to revenue generation, billing, collections, and reimbursement processes to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.
  • Business Solutions Support: Support the development and implementation of business solutions within the Revenue Cycle, including charge services/revenue integrity, health information management, and patient accounting.
  • Revenue Cycle Efficiency: Ensure the efficient flow of revenue through our financial systems by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as accounts receivable, denials, and cash collection.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline revenue cycle processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration and Compliance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and system enhancements, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and coding guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years' experience as a revenue cycle analyst, or similar role.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle data analysis and interpretation, in-depth knowledge of accounting practices and industry regulations, and knowledge of third-party and insurance companies' operating procedures, regulations, and billing requirements.
