Facilities Maintenance Technician

Sequoia Biotech Consulting is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical systems, autoclaves, HVAC, WFI, and clean steam systems, as well as a strong understanding of cGMP guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and document maintenance activities, including preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Operate and maintain facility equipment, including autoclaves, HVAC, WFI, and clean steam systems.
- Conduct daily inspection rounds to ensure all utilities and equipment are operated and maintained per GMP guidelines.
- Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Policies.
- Review and complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure adequate inventory of spare parts is available.
- Partner with team members to ensure daily production goals are met.
- Perform all tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Document all work performed.
- Train new employees on equipment maintenance, safety, SOPs, and GMPs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with GMP guidelines and applicable company, federal, and local EH&S regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2-6 years of experience operating and maintaining facility equipment in a medical device or pharmaceutical GMP environment.
- Training or field experience in Autoclaves, Clean Steam, WFI, water systems, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, and/or water treatment.
- Strong understanding of cGMP guidelines and biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Ability to lift/move packages and material weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $26.40 hourly in our lowest geographic market up to $37.59 hourly in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
