About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Development Manager to join our team at Lennar Homes. As a key member of our land development team, you will be responsible for managing the acquisition, entitlement, and development of land for our new home communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the land development process from acquisition to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including area construction managers, directors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local government officials, community leaders, and other external partners to facilitate land development and entitlement processes.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of land development plans, permits, and other regulatory documents.
  • Manage land development budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to land development.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices and processes within the land development team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in land development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of land development processes, including entitlement, permitting, and construction.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
