LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a forward-thinking nonprofit organization committed to addressing homelessness in the Portland metro area. As they gear up for the launch of a new facility and the commencement of a new fiscal period, they are in search of a dedicated HR Compensation Associate to bolster their expanding team. Your contribution will be vital in advancing our mission through outcome-driven strategies that foster personal and community growth.

Location: 100% Onsite Portland, OR
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Duration: 1-Year Contract
Compensation: $27-$35 per hour
Parking: Public lots available (no dedicated parking)
Reports To: Compensation Manager
Software: UKG; Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP required

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain Classification Specifications and Job Description repository.
  • Revise Compensation Templates and assist with Job Description modifications and template transitions.
  • Engage in the Job Cataloging initiative.
  • Support website upkeep and address basic inquiries, escalating as necessary.
  • Generate and format routine and ad hoc reports.
  • Assist with straightforward hiring and offer requests under team supervision.
  • Collect data and conduct basic Compensation analytics.
  • Establish Compensation elements in UKG and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc audits for accuracy in Compensation processing.
  • Document meeting notes and follow up on Compensation action items.
  • Provide administrative assistance for compensation projects, including salary management and total rewards statements.
  • Support Compensation Tickets triaging and assist with Salary Survey timelines and payments.
  • Update and maintain Compensation procedure documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or administrative coordination, with some exposure to compensation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (including VLOOKUP), and PowerPoint; UKG and SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Ability to cultivate effective working relationships with individuals at all levels.
  • Proactive approach to enhancing processes in a dynamic environment.
  • Respectful interaction with diverse individuals and commitment to our mission of personal and community transformation.
Compensation Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
