About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical team at Glumac, a Tetra Tech Company. As a senior mechanical engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead the mechanical discipline team through projects from early concept to construction completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a portfolio of ground-breaking projects in various market sectors, including Commercial, Education, Government, Healthcare, and Hospitality.
  • Design and plan sustainable mechanical systems for buildings and facilities.
  • Lead technical communication with clients on MEP topics and act as an Engineer of Record.
  • Ensure the overall quality of the engineering design, including Code and Client's expectations.
  • Lead assigned project teams and participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
Requirements
  • Experience in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Current PE license.
  • Highly technical in HVAC design with at least 15 years of overall experience.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and technical capabilities to successfully delegate and provide mentoring to younger staff.
