Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our packaging lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cover various positions on Line 2 Packaging for breaks and lunches, call offs, and vacations.
  • Operate the Bagger and Kwiklok machines, cases product into baskets or cases, keeping up with line speed.
  • Monitor, record, and maintain product quality standards.
  • Feed bread into Slicers at an approximate rate of 55 loaves per minute.
  • Check for correct number of slices of bread and document findings.
  • Set up and operate Bagger and Kwiklok machines, making necessary adjustments to keep the line running well.
  • Case product into baskets or cases, keeping up with line speed.
  • Monitor bags for clarity and check bread and packaging quality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing work conditions.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads on wheeled dollies.
