Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain packaging equipment, including baggers and slicers, to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Monitor and record product quality standards, including wrap, bag print quality, bag closure, and product coding.
  • Check bread quality and ensure proper type and label revision on bags.
  • Feed bread into slicers at an approximate rate of 55 loaves per minute and monitor size, quality, and weight of bread.
  • Start and stop wrapper and slicer according to line needs and watch for and unjam bread on the Hartman slicer and wrapper infeed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills, with ability to utilize good judgment and ensure issues are quickly resolved and communicated with supervision.
  • Food safety awareness and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing work environment and high-pressure situations.
