About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Access Control Installation Technician to join our team at BrightWatch. As a key member of our security services team, you will be responsible for installing, terminating, and programming end devices for access control, video security, and security infrastructure in commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure access control systems, including door and window contacts, sensors, and video cameras
  • Program and test electronic security systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, or video cameras and attach electrical and telephone wiring to connect components
  • Install electronic security equipment at customer sites per blueprints, scope of work, and/or oral instruction

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience installing complete systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with access control systems
  • Working knowledge of test equipment, such as multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meter, decibel meters, and communicating devices
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive to remote job site locations
