We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Control Systems Specialist to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for our manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for automated equipment, including PLC programming, HMI development, and electrical cabinet builds.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed electrical and fluid schematics using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to specify, design, and install automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Participate in initial equipment conceptual development and balance product specifications, process requirements, layout complexity, cost, and lead-time limits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or 5+ years' experience in Control Systems Design and Implementation.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff) and HMI development (Beckhoff View, WinCC, Ignition).
  • Strong understanding of electrical and fluid schematics, including CAD software (EPLAN preferred).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation and Benefits

$70/hr to $85/hr. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
