The Internal Medicine Consultant will provide accurate, timely, professional, and friendly peer-to-peer medical consultation to Antech clients. This role involves interpreting and selecting laboratory results, case management, and staying up-to-date with Antech offerings and services.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Peer to peer consultation with Antech clients regarding laboratory results and case management.
  • Achieve and maintain superior knowledge of Antech offerings and services.
  • Build and strengthen rapport with clients in the process of consultation.
  • Assist in other duties relevant to consultation services and other Antech departments.
  • Attend consultant meetings and continuing education seminars.
  • Participate in enterprise initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent with active license in the state of province in which you reside.
  • Board-certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine (ACVIM).
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience after completing board certification.
  • Track record of high-quality continuing education.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Bilingualism (specifically fluency in French, both spoken and written) is preferred.
