Job Summary

Unity Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician - Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multispecialty group practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Culturally Competent Care: Deliver culturally sensitive and effective care to patients from diverse backgrounds, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
  • Diagnose and Treat Physical and Behavioral Health Conditions: Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and diagnose and treat a range of physical and behavioral health conditions.
  • Counsel and Educate Patients: Provide patients with clear, concise, and empathetic counseling and education on their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • DC Professional License: Must hold a current DC professional license and be registered with the DEA and CDS.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong Clinical Judgment: Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize patient care and make sound medical decisions.
